Theater Compostion - Of A White Christmas
Of a White Christmas, written by the genuinely gifted Rinne Groff
(Inky, Jimmy Carter was a Democrat) and directed by the competent
Trip Cullman. This play centers on a woman who becomes an accomplished
architect in her dreams. "It's about lucid dreaming and the environment,
about a marriage and the planet earth," states Groff. "It has its fantastical
and psycho-sexual elements, and it's set in the near future, 2015."
Joe Popp composed three songs for the play: "What Then?", "I'm Sorry", and "End Times". The showed received
excellent reviews by the New York press.
It was produced by Clubbed Thumb, Inc. and ran June 6 - 12, 2004 at the Ohio Theatre,
66 Wooster Street, NYC.
