Joe Popp is a musician, composer, writer, amplifier/effects builder, motorcyclist, and skateboarder. He currently performs and records with two bands, The Hornrims and Plasma in the Ukraine and resides in the Harlem section of New York City. He served as the guitarist and lead vocalist for the bands Joe Popp and dogs on ice in the early to late 90s. Joe has composed a great deal of rock music for theater including adaptations of Pericles, Macbeth, and The Boy in the Plastic Bubble. He builds guitar amplifiers and effects and is also an avid motorcyclist and skateboarder. His motorcycle journeys can be followed on his motorcycle blog, Tales of a Flying Brick.
