JCM800 Combo Project

This amplifier got it start as a JCM800 in a very small combo cabinet. I later moved the amp to a head cabinet. I ended up selling this amp but wish I never did because some of the components like the Piher resistors and the .68uF 160V Mustards are almost impossible to find.

Here is the JCM800 Combo project in head form. I changed several things from the original build.
– Eliminated the Treble Peaking Circuit
– Removed the Bright Cap
– Replaced the ARS N.O.S. Filter Cap Cans with F&T
– Replaced the bad Radio Spares Silver Micas with Cornell Dubilier (Solved DC leakage)
– Replaced Top Hat Diodes with UF5408 Ultra Fast
